Marlene Rodriguez is an undergraduate student at Columbia University majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior. In the lab, she studies glycogen metabolism in Pseudomonas aeruginosa, focusing on genes involved in glycogen synthesis and degradation. After completing her undergraduate studies, Marlene hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career as a physician. In her free time, she enjoys baking, exploring all that New York City has to offer, and spending time with friends and family.
