Nathan is originally from Detroit, MI and is currently studying Biology and History as an undergraduate at Columbia University. Nathan is very interested in human pathology and physiology, and at the Riquelme Lab, is looking to gain a better understand in the pathology of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, including its metabolic processes and host-pathogen interactions, to ultimately pursue possible therapeutic interventions for the bacteria in regards to human infections causing Cystic Fibrosis. Nathan plans on continuing his academic pursuits in medical school after his undergraduate time at Columbia. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys traveling, trying new food, and exploring New York City.
